Wii U Rumored to be delayed in Europe

Nintendo’s next-gen console, the Wii U, has been rumored to be delayed for release in Europe due to manufacturing issues with the console’s GamePad Controller: “A controller that has a 6.2 inch touchscreen display, a front-facing camera, motion-sensing and near-field communication technologies, its own power supply and is completely wireless.”
The manufacturing issues have not been specified as of yet and Nintendo has made no comment about it.  Some say it might be held off until early December.  In July, an Executive of a major publishing company working closely with Nintendo told CVG the release date might slip to 2013, though Nintendo assured the 2012 deadline will happen. Either way the US release will remain the same. The Wii U is supposedly being released internationally this November before the holiday season.
