Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

Final Fantasy XIV came out a quite a while ago and was a major disappointment to everyone who purchased it. After the game flopped hard, a bunch of people were fired and new ones hired. Now the game is looking to get its second wind, with a new 2.0 update which will revamp pretty much every  major system in the game, as well as the whole game world. Essentially, it’s a brand new game. I will wait for this 2.0 update to come out before I pass judgement on this, as it was clearly released before it was truly finished; this seems more like its real release date than before. Here’s a CGI trailer explaining vaguely about the story.

Also, it seems that they still plan to bring this game to PS3. I honestly figured that they had scrapped any plans of that, but I was wrong.

I have been gamer since I first laid eyes on the NES and Sega Genesis. I consider myself a very passionate gamer with a life of experience playing everything from RTS to FPS. I play mainly PC games, but am a fan of playing consoles for the exclusives. Typically the Xbox 360. ~Twitter~

I am considering in getting this game but not for sure if I will since it will have a subscription for it. Hopefully it won’t be like when it was first released this time.

I would only just try it once. I don’t think this MMO is going to change much.

You never know, it could be different.

If either of you know Lonegunspy, he’s been in the game since it launched, and he has said that a TON of stuff is already changed at this point, and the 2.0 update plans to change way more than that.
