Square Enix has released a breathtaking new gameplay trailer for Tomb Raider: Crossroads, and announced a release date of March 5, 2013 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
This trailer opens with Lara trying to escape the depths of a dark and gloomy cavern, where she’s being held captive by some sort of cult. Once she escapes, she starts heading out into the wilderness to hunt and survive.
One part of this trailer is especially interesting, because it shows you what appears to be Lara’s first kill. This is quite significant, as this is what moulds her into the Lara we all know and love.
Expect more news on Tomb Raider during Microsoft’s E3 press conference next week. Crystal Dynamics has promised another “exclusive look” at the game during the conference on Monday evening.
