Heavy Rain developer may unveil new game at Sony E3 Conference.

The developer behind Heavy Rain, Quantic Dreams, is reportedly set to reveal their new game project during Sony’s press conference at E3 next Monday. A senior development source has stated that the Paris-based studio is currently working on two separate mystery projects for Sony.

In March, David Cage, founder of Quantic Dreams, showed off the new technology that will provide the backdrop to his next game, in a seven-minute video demo, entitled ‘Kara’. The video is apparently running in real-time on PlayStation 3 so watch it in HD to get the best experience.

As seen from the video, the new technology incorporates advanced motion-capture techniques that will allow it to raise the bar set by Heavy Rain. ”There were so many things we couldn’t do with our Heavy Rain engine, so we decided to build a new one,” Cage said. Cage also stated that he would be happy to develop on the PlayStation 3 for the next five years.

Thing is what’s in the video won’t be the game, but people are wanting Kara to be a game.
