Gamers Join Up For Good Cause

During my years as a broadcaster at GameOn, we have held many charity events. From a charity event for Child’s Play to a Japan fundraiser, gamers have shown their support for a common cause no matter the challenge (staying up for 36 hours broadcasting). This weekend holds another challenge.

Katy Boyd, or known to gamers as bunnyXablaze, 2012 Frag Doll Cadette, GCON Staff Member, animal lover, and all around AMAZING lady in our industry, has suffered the loss of her home due to a house fire upon returning from her trip to Boston while attending PAX East this weekend. Katy has lost everything.

This Saturday, April 14, 2012, at 12 noon CST to midnight, you can check out a live, 12-hour stream at www.twitch.tv/kona to donate, spread the word, and help a fellow gamer in need.
